Museum provinsi

MUSEUM Provinsi adalah sebuah bangunan indah berdekorasi modern dengan ornament ciri khas Kalimantan Barat. Wisatawan dapat melihat kebudayaan asli Kalimantan Barat melalui beberapa peninggalan bersejarah yang tersimpan dengan baik. Di bagian depan museum, terdapat sebuah relief yang menggambarkan peristiwa perjuangan kemerdekaan dari Suku Dayak dan Melayu. Bagi pengunjung yang tertarik dengan kerajinan kayu tradisional dan keramik dari China, ini merupakan tempat yang tepat untuk dikunjungi. Museum Provinsi terletak di Jalan A. Yani.**

EQUATOR MONUMENT

 

 

This monument shows that Pontianak City is passing by the equator 00 latitude. This monument at first time was built in 1928 by Astronomical Expedition Team from Dutch. And 1938, it was re-built with some improvement by Opzicter Silaban, an architect. In 1990 this monument had been re-built for the second time by duplicating it in bigger size. The size was five times bigger than the original and its purpose to protect the original statue.

TUGU KHATULISTIWA

Tugu Khatulistiwa atau Equator Monument berada di Jalan Khatulistiwa, Pontianak Utara, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Tugu Khatulistiwa merupakan ikon Kota Pontianak dan selalu dikunjungi masyarakat, terutama wisatawan yang datang ke Kota Pontianak.

Pontianak Regency Highlights

KADRIYAH PALACE


This palace is a delight with its ironwood construction, architectural details, and collection of artifacts and regalia from the royal family.

This great Royal Palace was built in 1771 by the Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Alqadrie. Being closed, THE JAMI MOSQUE is one of the greatest mosques left from the time of the Pontianak Sultanate.
